Ez a k\u00fcl\u00f6nleges projekt m\u00e9g 2013. december 16-\u00e1n indult \u00e9s egy \u00e9vig tart. L\u00e9nyege, hogy az emberek k\u00fcldhetnek magukr\u00f3l egy fot\u00f3t, amin egy lufit tartanak. IMPREINT az\u00e9rt h\u00edvja portr\u00e9nak, mert a lufit tartva mindenki megv\u00e1ltozik kicsit, \u00e9s \u00edgy az m\u00e1r nem csak egy sima f\u00e9nyk\u00e9p az illet\u0151r\u0151l, hanem egy elbesz\u00e9l\u0151 portr\u00e9. \u00cdgy nem kis megtiszteltet\u00e9snek \u00e9reztem, amikor a Portraits projekt<\/em><\/strong> kapcs\u00e1n felk\u00e9rtek, hogy \u00e9n k\u00e9sz\u00edtsem el a budapesti lufis fot\u00f3t. Im\u00e1dom Budapestet, k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen a reggeli \u00f3r\u00e1kban, szeretem \u00e9rezni a g\u0151z\u00f6lg\u0151 k\u00e1v\u00e9 illat\u00e1t, eln\u00e9zni az \u00e9bredez\u0151 v\u00e1rost, hallgatni a munk\u00e1ba siet\u0151 emberek zaj\u00e1t, a csillog\u00f3 tekintet\u0171 gyerekek zsivaj\u00e1t, a metr\u00f3n \u00fcl\u0151 f\u00e1radt tekintetek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt elcs\u00edpni egy-egy k\u00f3sza kis mosolyt, \u00e9s f\u00fcrd\u0151zni a felkel\u0151 napsugarak f\u00e9nyeiben a L\u00e1nch\u00edd felett\u2026<\/p>\r\n

Do you remember the time when we were able to reach other without any difficulties although not having mobile phones, or when we could chat with our friends for hours without using any super-duper technical gadgets at a time when the concept of the Internet was not even known? In those times we could appreciate the small joys of life, being able to enjoy the sunshine in the morning rush, to discover the beauties of the city while inching in the traffic jam or simply admiring the amazing colors of nature. What is to be done, if one would want to sneak back a bit of fun into our busy everyday life? There is nothing else to be done, than to take a glance at our childhood, put up a smile on your face, take a balloon and a camera in your hands and let the adventure begin!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n

The timeless meaning of this post is linked to the new project of the artist from London named IMPREINT, from who you could have read earlier this year on this blog. Although I did not yet have the chance to meet him personally, I am simply amazed by his creations and by the purpose of his art. What I personally love at his work is that he does not simply create forms, but one can get both physically and spiritually involved in the whole concept of his art. I truly believe that his photos create a true emotional link between the artist, the portrait and the recipient.<\/p>\r\n\"IMPREINT\"<\/a>\r\n

The portraits have been inspired by the artist\u2019s own series of paintings called balloons. While painting the portraits, the artist thought that in spite of the fact that every balloon is different from the other and none of them is perfect, all balloons are equally beautiful just like people. From here he came with the inspiration to connect the people around the world with one huge balloon and that is how PORTRAITS<\/em><\/strong> have started their path.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_348\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"350\"]\"Good<\/a> Good morning Rome! The project started in December 16, 2013 and will last for one year. The essence of the programme is that people can send a photo (portrait) about themselves while holding a balloon. IMPREINT calls such photos portraits because he thinks that when holding a balloon everyone changes a bit, so in that particular moment we are no longer dealing with a regular photo about a certain person, but more with narrative portrait of that particular person. Photos of persons holding a balloon can be sent via email or simply downloaded on his official Facebook page, where there are already quite a few photos, including among others even photos sent from Japan, Algeria, and France.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_349\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"350\"]\"Good<\/a> Good morning Athens! So I felt really honored when I was asked to prepare my balloon photo from Budapest in relation to the PORTRAITS project. I love Budapest, especially in the morning when one can feel the smelling the flavors of the steaming coffee, or look over the awakening city, listen to the people\u2019s noise hurrying to work as well as to the shining-eyed children\u2019s uproar, catching a vague little smile among tired gazes while sitting on the subway and bathing in light of the rising sun over the Chain Bridge<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0So there was no question to which point of the city will I take out my model holding a huge red balloon. To me, one of the finest and most distinctive places of Budapest has always been the Sz\u00e9chenyi Chain Bridge, which I believe is one of the best known symbols of our capital. Since the place was given, the balloon inflated, appointment with the gentleman settled, a click on the camera and the portrait from Budapest-Portrait<\/strong><\/em> was ready.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_356\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"350\"]\"Good<\/a> Good morning Budapest - IMPREINT[\/caption]\r\n

I am very happy that for at least one moment I could be a part of IMPREINT\u2018s creation, built up from a myriad of colorful personalities having one point in common, the BALLOON<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_350\" align=\"aligncenter\" width=\"500\"]\"Portraits<\/a> Portraits by IMPREINT[\/caption]\r\n

If you want to be part of the Portraits project yourself, the only thing you need to do is to take a balloon and seize the moment. The aim is not more than to invoke yours and other people\u2019s smile spiced with a pinch of positive outlook.<\/p>\r\n

And do not forget! The balloon is merely a tool so that you can be part of<\/em><\/strong> this fantastic experience, because though apparently all balloons may look the same, each small red balloon can be endowed with your own personality \u2026and why not doing so? So keep up smiling!<\/p>\r\n
